Silver Heritage launches casino operations at Tiger Palace in Nepal

Australian-listed casino operator Silver Heritage Group has been issued a long-awaited casino license for its new Tiger Palace Resort Bhairahawa in Nepal, with casino operations officially getting underway as of 28 December 2017.

The license was granted to Silver Heritage’s Nepalese subsidiary, SHL Management Services Private Ltd (SHMK), following final approval by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal. SHMK also operates the Millionaire’s Club at the Shangri-La Hotel in Kathmandu.

Tiger Palace celebrated with its first major event, a New Year’s Eve celebration on 31 December, that included gaming and entertainment.

Tiger Palace welcomed its first hotel guests in September and lodged its application to launch casino operations in late November after being awarded a 5-Star Hotel Rating by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation of Nepal.
