Century Entertainment International Holdings Ltd says its newly formed gaming systems platform joint venture business generated more than HK$5 million (US$643,000) in revenue in its first three months of operations as it continues efforts to diversify its business operations.
Having finally relaunched VIP table game operations in Cambodia earlier in the year – only to quickly terminate them after parting ways with Chairman and CEO Ng Man Sun – the company revealed via a Monday filing that it has been working to “leverage its technical team and existing client relationships in Asia” to market and distribute gaming system platforms and related content across the Asia Pacific region.
This follows its announcement in early July that it had formed a joint venture with Philippines-based World Platinum Technologies Inc (WPT) with the goal of conducting research, development, marketing and sales of WPT’s gaming system platforms and related content in the region.
On Monday, Century Entertainment said the joint venture had recorded unaudited revenue of around HK$800,000 (US$102,900) in July, HK$1 million (US$128,600) in August and HK$3,268,000 (US$420,300) in September 2025, respectively.
It also revealed the signing of a non-binding letter of intent with a casino operator in Vietnam to explore the possibility of expanding the group’s gaming operations, “demonstrating a parallel effort to revitalise the Group’s core gaming activities following the termination of the Group’s VIP room operations in Cambodia.”
The joint venture gaming platform could also potentially be offered to other third-party operators, including its own proposed Vietnam operation, which would in turn create mutual operational and marketing synergies, Century Entertainment explained.
Monday’s filing was aimed at providing an update on progress around resumption status, having suspended trading in June in relation to a Disclaimer of Opinion issue related to Going Concern uncertainty.
“Since the suspension of trading in the shares on 26 June 2025 and up to the date of this announcement, the business operations of the Group have been operating as usual in all material respects,” Century Entertainment said.
“The Group has been transitioning from a mobile game solutions model to an online gaming platform business, which led to the establishment of the Joint Venture Company pursuant to the Joint Venture Agreement.”
