With deep roots in Macau for a decade, the senior management team at MGM Macau and its 8,900 Golden Lion Team members has celebrated the company’s 10-year anniversary with a series of events since the start of the month.
Commemorating the milestone, MGM began by holding a 10-year service gala celebration on 5 December for 1,900 inaugural MGM Macau members. At the gala, MGM’s senior management team presented a 10-year service certificate and a limited edition commemorative silver coin to each inaugural member for their commitment over the decade. This was followed by a carnival-themed anniversary party on 18 December as a compliment to fellow Golden Lion Team members for their excellence and dedication over the years.
The senior management team also sincerely thanked the MGM family by serving scrumptious dishes to their colleagues at the Employee Dining Room. In appreciation for the support of team members and their families, MGM organized an Employee Family and Friend Day at Learn and Play! teamLab Future Park, offering complimentary access to 600 team members and their families to share quality time at the resort’s first interactive and digital art exhibition.
“The company remains committed to making great moments for Macau, showcasing the city’s distinctive blend of East-meets-West culture, meanwhile bringing Macau to the world and the world to Macau,” MGM said in a press release on Monday.
Speaking of MGM’s journey over the decade, Mr James J Murren, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of MGM Resorts International and Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, sent his greetings via a video recording and said, “10 years ago, MGM took an important step out of the US to Macau. At that time, we recruited thousands of dedicated and talented individuals who have championed our brand and supported us in creating unique offerings to attract tourists to Macau. Today I am so proud that all of you not only delivered our promise, but also exceeded our expectations.”
Ms Pansy Ho, Co-Chairperson and Executive Director of MGM China Holdings Limited, thanked the Golden Lion Team for its dedication and determination to always strive for the best.
