Aspect Gaming, Asia’s newest gaming  professionals have partnered with Hong Kong’s favourite lovable  rogue Eric Tsang to launch 5 Ghosts™,  an exciting innovation in slot machine entertainment. 5 Ghosts first appeared in the Macau market at the city’s newest integrated destination resort, Galaxy Macau™, and has been extremely popular among visitors.

To celebrate the opening of Galaxy Macau and the launch of 5 Ghosts, daily promotions have resulted in players winning incredible bonus prizes, culminating in today’s awarding of autographed pictures of Eric Tsang, presented by the Prize Master himself, to winners at Galaxy Macau.

“We were thrilled when Eric agreed to become part of the development of a dedicated Asian slot machine for the Asian market,” said Andrew Macaulay, Managing Director of Aspect Gaming.

“Eric is an absolute legend in China’s film and entertainment industry, and his contribution to the design and theme of 5 Ghosts was critical to its success.”

Combining the traditional Chinese tale of the Five Ghosts with one of Hong Kong’s most accomplished film industry giants, aptly nicknamed the Prize Master (獎門人), Aspect Gaming has produced an exhilarating, high-tech machine that has captured the hearts and imaginations of Asia’s players.

“This game has the elements of fun and fortune I seek when playing slot machines. Collaborating with Aspect has drawn me closer to the gambling industry”, said Eric Tsang from his seat at the 5 Ghosts slot machine.

“Aspect Gaming’s business model is built on the motto ‘from Asia, for Asians’, making Galaxy Macau and its ‘World Class, Asian Heart’ philosophy a great match,” Macaulay commented. “5 Ghosts is the perfect example of the company’s unique ability to identify synergies for the market that work locally for both player and operator.”

Galaxy Macau opened in the Cotai entertainment district on May 15, 2011. With an investment of HK$15.5 billion, it has lived up to its billing as “The New Palace of Asia”, making its World Class, Asian Heart service and amenities available to tens of thousands of visitors every day and quickly becoming a leading attraction for Macau, Asia’s most dynamic leisure and tourism destination.

With a focus on Asian players, Aspect Gaming has been able to identify the successful combination of technology, entertainment and maximum profitability that has resulted in the achievement of 5 Ghosts.

“The unique gaming style that is emerging in Asia requires a dedicated and knowledgeable team to address players who are maturing very rapidly,” explained Macaulay. “We are equipped with the resources, drive and know-how to tailor-make sophisticated new slot machines that Asia’s players are growing to expect of Macau’s technologically advancing market.”

Mr. Michael Mecca, President & Chief Operating Officer of Galaxy Entertainment Group, the parent company of Galaxy Macau, said, “We have worked hard at designing and building what we believe is a game-changing resort — it’s the first integrated destination property in Macau with true resort features, such as our Grand Resort Deck with its white-sand beach, skytop wave pool and Banyan Tree Spa. At the same time, we also want to ensure  that  all  our  players  will  continue to  have an  exceptional  gaming experience. We continue to have new millionaires born every month at Galaxy Macau, and we believe that 5 Ghosts will also provide an unparalleled level of excitement for our guests.”

With a firm and dedicated eye on the organically evolving Asian business, Aspect Gaming said it will continue to produce slot machines that comfortably satisfy the needs and expectations of both players and operators.
