Foreigner-only casino operator Grand Korea Leisure reported casino revenue of KRW32.5 billion (US$22.5 million) in February, down 5.5% month-on-month and 3.6% year-on-year.
GKL’s casino revenue comprised a 4.5% sequential decrease in table revenue to KRW30.0 billion (US$20.8 million) and a 16.0% decrease in slots revenue to KRW2.46 billion (US$1.7 million). This came on the back of a 10.4% month-on-month decline in drop amount to KRW261.2 billion (US$181 million).
Casino revenue for the first two months of 2025 combined sits at KRW66.8 billion (US$46.3 million), up 25.4% on the same period last year.
Table drop of KRW527.9 billion (US$366 million) through February is down 11.3% year-on-year.
GKL operates three casinos in South Korea and Seoul and Busan under the Seven Luck brand.
