Leading Korean foreigner-only casino operator Paradise Co continued its recent surge in June as casino revenues across its properties reached KRW82.0 billion (US$60.3 million) – a slight 0.4% higher than in May but 41.0% higher than the same month last year.
According to information filed with the Korea Exchange. June was again the company’s best month of 2025 so far, with table games revenue rising by 0.3% month-on-month to KRW77.3 billion (US$56.9 million) and machine revenue growing by 1.9% to KRW4.76 billion (US$3.50 million).
This was despite drop amount declining by 9.8% month-on-month to KRW581.3 billion (US$428 million).
Casino revenues for the first six months of 2025 combined sit 8.7% higher year-on-year at KRW456.9 billion (US$336 million), while drop amount is up 2.8% at KRW3.53 trillion (US$2.60 billion).
Paradise, which recently revealed plans to develop a luxury hotel in Seoul and upgrade its VIP gaming areas to improve its appeal to international guests, operates four casinos in Korea including integrated resort Paradise City in Incheon – a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy – plus casinos in Seoul, Busan and Jeju.
