Korea’s Paradise Co saw its casino revenues rise 19.1% to KRW74.15 billion (US$61.1 million) in July, the fourth consecutive month of year-on-year growth.
Despite a 9.4% decline in table drop when compared with June, July’s numbers also represented a 3.2% sequential increase on the back of better luck on the gaming tables where revenue was up 21.0% year-on-year to KRW70.51 billion. Conversely, EGM revenue was down 8.9% to KRW3.64 billion.
Paradise Co is tracking at 19.1% growth for the first seven months of 2019 with revenue of KRW425.63 billion (US$350.5 million), including KRW399.39 billion in table revenue (up 20.1%) and KRW26.23 billion in EGM revenue (up 5.4%). Table drop through 2019 to date is 25.5% better off than last year at KRW4.02 trillion.
Paradise operates Paradise Walker-hill in Seoul, Jeju Grand and Busan Casino as well as its first integrated resort, Paradise City, in Incheon, which is a joint venture with Japan’s Sega Sammy.
