City of Dreams (CoD), flagship resort of Melco Crown Entertainment Limited (NASDAQ: MPEL), has been named ‘Best Integrated Resort’ at the 21st TTG Travel Awards 2010 held at Centara Hotel, Bangkok, Thailand. The TTG Travel Awards is widely acknowledged as one of the travel and hospitality industry’s most coveted and influential awards in Asia Pacific.
CoD was chosen by the more than 48,000 readers of the TTG group of travel trade publications. Those publications include Travel Trade Gazette Asia, TTG China, TTGmice, TTG-Btmice China, and ttgasia eDaily.
“We are honoured to receive this recognition and particularly since the voting body was comprised of TTG readers and industry leaders across the region,” said Nicholas Naples, Co-Chief Operating Officer, Operations, Melco Crown Entertainment Limited.
MPEL properties also won prizes at the TTG China Travel Awards 2010. Grand Hyatt Macau within City of Dreams was awarded the ‘Best New Hotel in Macau’ and Altira Macau was recognised as ‘Best Luxury Hotel in Macau’.
