A Philippine esports identity is launching a new livestream platform that aims to bring together iGaming streamers and content creators in a responsible way by promoting only PAGCOR-licensed games.
YGS LIVE is the brainchild of Julius “Banoobs” Mariano, who is described as a veteran of the Philippine esports community having spent over a decade shaping the industry.
It operates as a broadcast network dedicated to iGaming and entertainment-based content while providing a collaborative, brand-safe environment where creators, partners and fans can engage openly while upholding ethical standards in streaming and gameplay.
Banoobs said that through YGS Live, he envisions a future where Filipino streamers and creators are recognized as global leaders in iGaming and online entertainment.
“YGS Live is built for creators who want to grow, collaborate and elevate the iGaming space responsibly,” he said. “Beyond competition, YGS Live promotes responsible iGaming as a core mission. Influence comes with responsibility. We want YGS Live to be a platform that doesn’t just entertain but also educates, helping shape a healthier iGaming culture for players and viewers alike.”
Alongside its launch, YGS Live is introducing a “Battle of the Streamers” international iGaming competition – featuring a Php11 million (US$186,000) prize pool and running every Saturday from 15 November before culminating in a grand battle event at City of Dreams Manila in January.
The flagship program will bring together some of the country’s most influential iGaming streamers and content creators with all participating influencers exclusively support PAGCOR-licensed iGaming platforms.
Banoobs said this reflects YGS Live’s advocacy to discourage and curb the promotion of content creators involved with illegal or scam iGaming sites, upholding ethical and responsible content creation.
