Wynn Macau Ltd has opened what it describes as the first and only Korean medical center located within a resort hotel in Macau at Wynn Palace in Cotai.
The Blanc de Vie Medical Centre, a high-end beauty clinic brand from South Korea, launched earlier this week, introducing high-end medical aesthetic services and chronic disease management approaches to Macau.
Wynn said in a release that by opening the medical center it aims to attract new tourist markets while demonstrating its steadfast support for the Macao SAR Government’s “1+4” adequate economic diversification strategy. It also seeks to facilitate the growth of local big health industry and the city’s position as a medical tourism destination.
The opening ceremony was attended by Professor Tang Xiaoqing, member of the Shanxi Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference; Linda Chen, President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director of Wynn Macau, Limited; Craig Fullalove, Chief Financial Officer and Chief Administrative Officer of Wynn Macau, Limited; Jun Choi, Chief Executive Officer of Blanc de Vie; Patrick Sa, Chief Operating Officer of Blanc de Vie; and Patton Dai, Co-Founder of Elite Fun.
According to Wynn, Blanc de Vie – based out of Seoul – has been recognized as a leading dermatology institution in the country’s beauty care sector after participating and contributing to domestic and international conferences for years in the form of exchanges, research and presentations. It has, Wynn added, won favor with countless clients for its professional medical expertise and high-quality services.
The opening of the Blanc de Vie Medical Centre comes after Wynn previously launched Macau’s first in-spa health and wellness center with a view to injecting vitality into the city’s big health industry.
Big Health is one of four diversified development projects identified by the government as areas of focus, with the other three being high-tech, modern finance, and MICE, culture and sports.
