Galaxy Entertainment Group (GEG) has announced the appointment of Eileen Lui Wai Ling – the company’s current Group Director of Human Resources and Administration and sister of Chairman Francis Lui – as an Executive Director with effect from 9 May 2025.

Eileen Lui, 67, joined GEG in 1993 and became Director of Human Resources and Administration in 2014. She is also a director of a number of GEG’s subsidiaries.

The company noted in a filing that she has entered into a service contract with GEG which has no fixed term and includes an annual salary of MOP$6,373,080 (US$795,000) as well as other allowances and discretionary incentives – the exact amount of which is to be considered by GEG’s Remuneration Committee and subject to the recommendation of the Board of Directors.

In addition, GEG disclosed that Eileen Lui holds 9,730,944 shares in GEG, including 459,254 share awards and a family interest in 51,696 shares, in addition to 1,364,380,640 shares held by a family trust of which she is a beneficiary.

The Board of Directors of GEG expressed its “warmest welcome to Eileen Lui on her appointment.”

Lui holds an Executive master of business administration degree from Richard Ivey School of Business, The University of Western Ontario and a bachelor of arts degree in economics from University of California, Los Angeles.

She was appointed as an advisor of the 38th Women’s General Association of Macau in 2025, was elected as a member of 7th Zhuhai Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference from 2007 to 2011 and as a member of the Standing Committee of the 8th and 9th Zhuhai Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference from 2012 to 2021.
