Aristocrat Leisure Limited has announced the departure of its Chief Technology Officer, Andy Hendrickson, after four years in the role. In a filing, the company explained that Hendrickson had accepted a role with a competitor, but did not detail who that competitor is.
Aristocrat said it has put in place interim leadership arrangements to ensure continuity while a rigorous internal and external search for a successor is completed.
“We thank Andy for his contribution to our business over the last four years and look forward to announcing his successor in due course,” said Aristocrat CEO and Managing Director, Trevor Croker.
Hendrickson’s departure comes after the company’s CEO of Gaming, Hector Fernandez, recently announced he would leave the company to take up a role with Apollo Global Management which has acquired Everi Holdings and the gaming and digital businesses of IGT.
Hendrickson, who joined Aristocrat in July 2021, will now spend six months on leave before starting in his new role as per contractual obligations.
