Kelcey Allison has announced he will be stepping down as Global Chief Operating Officer of Aruze Gaming Global less than 18 months after taking on the role.
In a social media post, Allison said he had made the “tough decision to step away” and planned to take a short break to “recharge and reflect” after driving the rebirth of the Aruze brand.
The veteran gaming industry executive previously led Aruze Gaming America as CEO from 2009 to 2016 and was hand-picked to bring the Aruze name back to life after the original company’s slot operations were acquired by US gaming technology firm Empire Technological Group Limited in mid-2023.

Having since reestablished itself in the North American and Asian markets, the company recently revealed to Inside Asian Gaming that it is now planning a greater expansion across Europe as it continues its growth trajectory.
In announcing his departure, Allison said, “Rebuilding AG2 was the most formidable endeavor of my professional journey, and a task that had never been done in our industry before. Together, we not only took on that challenge but succeeded in ways that exceeded so many expectations.
“To the entire incredible AG2 team: thank you for your trust, collaboration, and belief in the vision. You are the foundation of everything we’ve accomplished!”
