Macau concessionaire SJM Resorts has launched a reimagined and revitalized “Made in Macau” retail space at Grand Lisboa Palace Resort Macau, with the company explaining the area showcases its dedication to fostering a thriving business environment for local brands.
The refreshed area showcases eight distinctive local companies, celebrating Macau’s diverse creativity by offering a curated selection of innovative products uniquely blending local charm with modern interpretation, SJM said.
The space includes images and design elements of SJM’s mascot, Sam the Rooster, who welcomes guests wearing an “I love Macau” outfit.
“The ‘Made in Macau’ retail space reflects SJM’s commitment to contributing to the community,” said SJM Managing Director Daisy Ho.
“We believe that a premium physical retail platform allows local Macau SMEs to break through marketing constraints, connect directly with international visitors, broaden their business opportunities and play a vital role in Macau’s retail landscape. We hope ‘Made in Macau’ will not only serve as a window showcasing Macau’s creativity but also as a convergence point of tradition and innovation, allowing visitors to deeply experience the city’s heritage.”
The eight Macau brands include exotic handmade bags from Wayuu Macau, jewelry from Belongs Jewelry & Art, bespoke accessory pieces from Cloé Jewelry & Art, organic skincare products from Forest Bath, handmade herbal personal care items from LIANA LIFE, creative AI-powered products from DR.AI, artisanal healthy snacks from Lovely Shop, and premium safe health products from Macau Puyue.
According to SJM, the revitalized “Made in Macau” retail space not only showcases the dynamic energy of local brands but also underscores SJM’s dedication to sustaining economic development in Macau, creating new opportunities for local enterprises to expand their market presence and thrive.
