Bloomberry Resorts Corp, operator of the Philippines’ leading integrated resort brand Solaire, has announced the retirement of long-time President and Chief Operating Office Thomas Arasi, effective immediately.
In a Philippine Stock Exchange filing, the company said Arasi was also stepping down from the Board of Directors of Bloomberry Resorts Corp, of Bloomberry Resorts and Hotels Inc, and from all positions in other subsidiaries for personal reasons.
Arasi, who ranked No. 40 in Inside Asian Gaming’s 2024 Asian Gaming Power 50 list, has played a key role in establishing Solaire as the Philippines’ market leader, primarily via its flagship property Solaire Resort Entertainment City, opened in 2013.
He also oversaw the launch of Solaire Resort North, located in Quezon City, in May of this year and in a recent interview with IAG outlined details of Bloomberry’s third IR, planned to be developed in Cavite in Manila’s south in the coming years.
Arasi joined Bloomberry in 2013 after a stint as CEO of Marina Bay Sands in Singapore and established himself as a trusted lieutenant of the company’s Chairman and CEO, Enrique Razon Jr.
