Wynn Macau Ltd announced Thursday that world-renowned snooker player Ronnie O’Sullivan will become its “Wynn Brand Ambassador” ahead of his return to Macau from 25 to 28 December for the “Wynn Presents – 2024 Macau Snooker Masters”.
O’Sullivan, seven-time winner of the World Snooker Championships, announced his participation in the tournament and signed a co-operation agreement with Wynn at a press conference.
Wynn Macau President, Vice Chairman and Executive Director Linda Chen said, “We took the opportunity to officially welcome Mr Ronnie O’Sullivan as the Wynn Brand Ambassador, joining hands in promoting and increasing the popularity of snooker, enhancing Macau’s appeal to international visitors and further elevating its global recognition.”
O’Sullivan added that he was “honored to be working alongside Wynn in promoting and increasing the popularity of snooker around the world.”
O’Sullivan has become a regular in Wynn-organized snooker events in recent years, having taken part in the 2023 Macau Snooker Masters and in the Snooker Legend and Rising Star Exhibition Game held in May this year.
He will be playing as Wynn Brand Ambassador for the first time in December, pitted against eight of the world’s best players in an exhibition.
