Former Managing Director Asia-Pacific for Aristocrat Gaming, Chris Rowe, has jumped ship with rival industry supplier Konami Gaming announcing his appointment as Vice President of North American game sales.
Rowe, who spent more than four years in Macau between 2015 and 2019, will be responsible for leading the growth of game sales in the United States and Canada with a focus on managing and developing business relationships with key corporate casino organizations, Konami said.
Shane Thompson, part of Konami’s sales team since 2020, has been promoted to Director of Sales, Corporate Accounts.
“For years, Chris Rowe has cultivated an outstanding leadership ability to strengthen customer relationships and achieve growth objectives, throughout vastly diverse global markets,” said Jay Bertsch, Senior Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer at Konami Gaming, Inc. “This senior management appointment, along with Shane Thompson’s promotion … is an effort to further deepen our ongoing commitment to casinos we serve.”
Konami noted that Rowe’s gaming career spans over two decades and five continents, with the Las Vegas native having “demonstrated success in achieving growth objectives, while cultivating strong relationships with casino customers.
“He has served across a range of disciplines including product management, sales leadership, and executive management.”
