Inside Asian Gaming has announced a two-year agreement with Manila’s Newport World Resorts under which it will host “Super September” from Monday 9 to Wednesday 11 September 2024, and the first ever “IAG Expo” from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 September 2025.

A year on from IAG’s inaugural Super September event in 2023, the 2024 Super September event will see the return of the popular IAG Academy Summit alongside two exciting networking events: Manila After Dark and the IAG Academy IR Awards.

The event will then re-brand in 2025 as the “IAG Expo” which will again include Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit, and the IAG Academy IR Awards – as well as adding a full-scale gaming exhibition with raw space stands and shell scheme booths for exhibitors, to be held at the Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts. At 2,897 square metres (31,183 square feet), the Marriott Grand Ballroom is the largest ballroom in the Philippines.

The 2024 Super September week will launch on the evening of Monday 9 September with the return of networking social Manila After Dark (MAD 24), to be held at Casa Buenas at Newport World Resorts from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. MAD 24 will double as the evening Welcome Cocktails for the IAG Academy Summit, kicking off the next morning.

Tuesday 10 and Wednesday 11 September will see the IAG Academy Summit take place in The Ballroom at Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts. The IAG Academy Summit is a high-level two-day summit bringing together the best minds in the Asian gaming industry. With content developed by IAG’s Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott and Managing Editor Ben Blaschke, it will feature a range of speakers from across the region offering their insights by a range of methodologies. These will include traditional panels and presentations as well as more innovative formats never before witnessed at industry trade shows in Asia.

Another exciting component of the week’s schedule will be the IAG Academy IR Awards, a black-tie gala to be held in The Ballroom at Hilton Manila, Newport World Resorts on the evening of Tuesday 10 September (day 1 of the Summit). More details on these awards, including the 22 awards categories and how to nominate for them, will be announced in the very near future.

IAG will soon announce a series of special hotel deals for attendees of Super September in 2024, with special rates for FOUR different hotels at Newport World Resorts: Hilton Manila, Manila Marriott Hotel, Hotel Okura Manila and Sheraton Manila Hotel.

From 2025, the event will be rebranded as IAG Expo and, as the name suggests, feature a large-scale land-based gaming industry exhibition, to be held in the Marriott Grand Ballroom at Newport World Resorts, the largest ballroom in the Philippines. IAG Expo will incorporate a comprehensive array of activities, including Manila After Dark, the IAG Academy Summit and the IAG Academy IR Awards.

IAG Expo will be held from Monday 8 to Wednesday 10 September 2025.
