Vietnam’s Hoiana Resort & Golf has named former Resorts World Sentosa executive Melvyn Boey as its new Chief Financial Officer.
According to details announced Monday, Boey will lead Hoiana’s financial strategy and operations, with the goal of driving growth and operational excellence.
Overseeing the resort’s financial operations, he will spearhead strategic financial planning initiatives and implement innovative solutions to enhance operational efficiency. He is also tasked with steering Hoiana towards achieving ambitious goals, ensuring financial stability, and fostering sustainable growth while upholding the resort’s commitment to excellence in luxury hospitality, the company explained.

Boey boasts more than 25 years of experience in equity research, corporate finance and hospitality related sectors, most recently at Singapore’s Resorts World Sentosa where he spent almost nine years as SVP, Finance and Business Planning. He previously worked with a series of top-tier investment banks including Nomura, Bank of America Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan.
