O MEDIA Limited, parent company of Inside Asian Gaming, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Scott Messinger as Chief of Staff for both companies, effective immediately.

Mr Messinger’s role will encompass all aspects of the business activities of Inside Asian Gaming and the O MEDIA group, including gaming and non-gaming media, events and other operations, in Macau, across the wider Asia-Pacific region and globally.

O MEDIA and Inside Asian Gaming Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott said, “Scott’s extremely broad range of skills and experience, not to mention some four decades working at the highest levels within integrated resorts and also in advertising and marketing, on both sides of the Pacific, brings a wealth of talent to IAG and O MEDIA.

“We’re absolutely thrilled to welcome Scott to our family during this time of significant growth for IAG and for our parent company O MEDIA.”

Mr Messinger was Senior Vice President at Ted Bates Advertising Worldwide and Executive Vice President and Executive Director at Scali McCabe Sloves during a 20-year career with US-based advertising agencies, which involved senior agency account management for major Fortune 500 companies. This was followed by three years as Executive Vice President of Marketing at an internet startup during the dot-com boom.

Mr Messinger then joined the IR industry, with 18 years variously as Vice President of Brand Marketing and Corporate Vice President of Advertising & Brand Management for Las Vegas Sands, Senior Vice President of Marketing and then Senior Vice President of Special Projects for Sands China, Chief Marketing Officer for Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino and Vice President of Brand Marketing for Melco Resorts & Entertainment.

He has been active in the IR industry in Macau since 2002 and Singapore since 2010 and has resided permanently in Macau since 2011, while continuing to maintain significant ties to Las Vegas.

His vast experience spans advertising and brand marketing, digital and social media, corporate communications and PR, gaming, hospitality and tourism, food and beverage, special events, entertainment, sponsorships and partnerships, on-site retail and destination resort marketing in the US, Macau and Singapore.

Mr Messinger has a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science, with emphasis on advertising, marketing and journalism, from the Medill School of Journalism at Northwestern University in the United States and is currently studying a Master of History & Heritage Studies, majoring in cultural tourism, at the University of Saint Joseph in Macau.
