Macau welcomed more than 330,000 visitor arrivals during the first three days of the Easter long weekend, including a top of 122,235 on Saturday, according to figures from the Public Security Police Force.
The MGTO had earlier estimated that more Hong Kong tourists would enter the city during the Easter holidays, with the expectation of reaching a daily average of 100,000 tourists.
According to the figures released Monday, there were 105,169 visitor arrivals on the first day of the Easter holidays, followed by 122,235 visitor arrivals on Sunday and about 103,000 on Sunday.
The average daily number of visitor arrivals from Friday to Sunday was slightly above 110,000.
Macau’s visitor arrivals have been on the rise this year, with arrivals rising by 15% month-on-month to 3,293,564 in February at an average of 113,571 per day. February’s tally included the Chinese New Year holiday which set a new post-pandemic single day high of 217,451 arrivals.
