The 16th Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner saw well over 300 guests gather at MGM Macau for a night of fun and entertainment while celebrating the year that was 2023.
The Asian Gaming Power 50 Black Tie Gala Dinner returned to Macau on Friday 3 November 2023 with around 300 guests attending a lavish Gala Dinner at MGM Macau’s The Grand Ballroom.
Celebrating the 16th anniversary of the Asian Gaming Power 50, this year’s event was a celebration, with the theme “The Tiger Roars Again” signifying the impressive recovery of the entire Asian gaming industry over the past 12 months following three years of pandemic-related challenges.
Guests were greeted upon arrival to an hour of Welcome Cocktails courtesy of Welcome Cocktails Sponsors Bloomberry Resorts Corporation and Solaire Resort Entertainment City, before taking their seats in the Grand Ballroom for the evening’s main festivities.
The Gala Dinner itself saw guests enjoy a delicious three-course meal and lively entertainment, punctuated by the unveiling of the 2023 Asian Gaming Power 50 as the night progressed.
The entertainment began with an opening dance performance choreographed to the night’s theme of “The Tiger Roars Again” with the talented ensemble of five dancers transporting the audience to a world of raw energy and untamed passion. This was followed by a stunning performance by international vocalist Janaia Farrell; a dance duet blending contemporary dance with prehistoric mystique, athleticism and strong techniques of lifting and adagio; and finally a live band performance by The Royals.
