Leading industry suppliers will give their take on market developments across Asia as part of a Suppliers’ Panel taking place from 11:25am on the morning of MGS Summit, at Galaxy International Convention Centre this Tuesday 14 November.
Titled “Future Opportunities, Challenges and Trends for Gaming Suppliers”, the panel session will explore current expansion in major markets around the region – including Macau, the Philippines, Australia and Singapore – and various regulatory changes that are impacting the operating environment for better or for worse.
It will also delve into lessons learned and attitudes changed during the COVID-19 pandemic, which has seen suppliers increasingly needing to respond to evolving demands and preferences. Factors such as the rise of AI, machine learning, VR, AR and the interplay between land-based and online offerings – in both real money and social play – have added to the opportunities and challenges faced by the region’s suppliers.
Four suppliers will be represented in this session, namely LT Game COO, Eddie Au; Interblock Gaming’s VP of Global Innovation, Jim Preston; Aristocrat General Manager – Asia, Lloyd Robson; and Light & Wonder’s Sales Director – Asia, Trevor Ross. Each will offer their take on where the region is headed and how their company is responding to put the best possible product on Asia’s gaming floors.
MGS Summit will kick off from 11am on Tuesday with a Keynote Address to be delivered by Kevin Kelley, Chief Operating Officer – Macau at Galaxy Entertainment Group, from 11:05am.
There will also be a session presented GLI’s Ian Hughes exploring the future use of AI in gaming, a panel session featuring representatives of Macau’s concessionaires on the opportunities and challenges they face under their new 10-year concessions, a presentation by Professor Wang Changbin of Macao Polytechnic University on broadening Macau’s tourism appeal, and a discussion on remote gaming in the Philippines.
