The France Macau Chamber of Commerce (FMCC) will host its annual Gala Dinner at MGM Macau on Friday 15 September, which will include the launch of its first ESG Awards honoring groups that have made outstanding contributions in the fields of environment, society and governance.
According to FMCC, the 15th anniversary of the FMCC Charity Gala Dinner in 2023 will be held under the theme of “Paris Extravaganza”, while the ESG Awards will incorporate three categories: Best Project, Best SME and Best NGO.
The event will support the flagship project of the Society of Food & Environmental Health (Macao), “Leave No Food Behind”, which centers on upcycling food trimmings and off-shelf vegetables into healthy pet food by applying various food technologies and safety experiences.
“Last year’s gala was a huge success, with nearly 300 VIP guests in attendance,” said FMCC President Rutger Verschuren.
“Thanks to the support of MGM and the generosity of many donors last year, we were able to make a significant donation to ARTM’s outreach program last year and achieve meaningful results.
“We hope this year’s dinner will be another success with the goal of raising more than MOP$50,000 to help protect the environment.”
