Inside Asian Gaming has announced that the next edition of networking social event Macau After Dark, MAD 18, will be held on Tuesday 27 June 2023 at restaurant Aji at MGM COTAI.

MAD 18 will form part of IAG’s second MAD “double-header”, and will be held just five days after the second edition of Manila After Dark (MAD 17), currently planned for Thursday 22 June. Full details of the next Manila After Dark will be announced soon.

MGM COTAI is an integrated resort that redefines the way people experience art and entertainment through innovative technology. The resort also offers various dining concepts serving authentic local and international cuisines to establish itself as Macau’s most innovative culinary destination. Located at the heart of MGM COTAI’s Spectacle, Aji travels with the Sun and the Moon in a day and offers guests a felicitous atmosphere surrounded by the world-record Spectacle roof and digital display. The dining room of Aji, with its organic shapes and textures, overlooks MGM COTAI’s incredible Spectacle, and the open kitchen gets you up close with master chefs preparing the freshest ingredients.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with Inside Asian Gaming for hosting Macau After Dark at Aji at MGM COTAI,” said President and Chief Operating Officer of MGM, Hubert Wang. “MGM is uniquely positioned to offer diversified and innovative dining experience for our customers, which demonstrates our ambition in elevating the Macau gastronomic landscape. We look forward to welcoming everyone to this very special networking event.”

IAG Vice Chairman and CEO Andrew W Scott added, “Following the wonderful success of our MAD event at Sofitel Macau, we’re delighted to be back over to the Cotai side of Macau for our Q2 MAD, and who better to host us than our great friends at MGM! We often welcome MGM senior executives as MAD guests at various venues around Macau, and now these long-time supporters get to attend in their very own back yard. And having a host venue of the quality of Aji is just icing on the cake!”

Debuting back in early 2019, MAD is a regular series of industry networking social events held in the Asian gaming hubs of Macau and Manila. Each MAD brings together key industry decision-makers with the people they want to meet in a relaxed and friendly environment. The event rotates around the region’s best hospitality venues – some well-known and some hidden gems.

Due to its enormous popularity, MAD is strictly by invitation only. Invited guests must RSVP and be confirmed by having an event entry ticket on their phones. All guests must supply their business cards upon arrival. There is also a select VIP list for each event.
