Matsui’s high security casino chips and antimicrobial chips and table layout will be among the products it will display at G2E Asia Special Edition: Singapore.

Matsui will be showcasing its latest range of high security casino chips and its innovative antimicrobial table layout at G2E Asia 2023 Special Edition: Singapore.

Matsui chips are regarded worldwide as among the most durable and secure casino gaming chips. Specializing in the manufacture and supply of gaming chips and table equipment, Matsui is renowned for its high-quality products along with reasonable pricing and speedy service. The company has been increasing its market and customer base since the establishment of its chip factory in 2000.

Matsui chips have been supplied to more than 1,000 casinos in over 100 countries.

Adding to traditional security features such as visible and invisible UV, Laser Trace and holograms, Matsui will introduce its exclusive MG EYE security and other cutting-edge technology, including RFID, at G2E Asia 2023.

“We are thrilled to meet our friends and customers after the three-year hiatus of major gaming shows in Asia,” said Shigeki Machida, Managing Director of Matsui’s Macau subsidiary.

“In the US and Europe, markets have been recovering very quickly in the post-pandemic era. Asia has been a little slow to do the same, but we are sure that the wave will be even bigger here as the pent-up demand for tourism and entertainment is so high.”

During the pandemic, Matsui developed and released its Nova Guard products which incorporate antimicrobial table equipment.

Nova Guard chips have an antimicrobial material added into the plastic rim and center decal whilst still allowing the same security features and additional design options that can be uniquely tailored to customer needs.

The Nova Guard Layout ensures any part of the table layout cloth that comes into human contact in the casino is antimicrobial, therefore stopping the growth or spread of microorganisms. Unlike similar products in the marketplace which only have the surface of the cloth sprayed or coated by anti-viral solution, the Nova Guard Layout contains antimicrobial material woven into the fiber.

“Producing the layout in this way means protection for not only a short period of time, but constantly during the full period of use of your layout,” said Machida. “It provides for a sanitized and safe environment at your gaming tables.

“From the experience of the pandemic, operators are increasingly aware of the importance of a sanitized environment on their gaming floor. The response to these products by our customers has already been huge and we are keen to expand this offering to new customers.”

Other products to be displayed at G2E Asia will be Matsui’s new casino chip series including Full Graphic Plaques, as well as demonstrations of the company’s RFID chips.
