The Macau government has announced that from Tuesday, a 72-hour nucleic acid test will be required for entry into Macau from mainland China, following a Macau announcement that it will also cancel quarantine for arrivals from mainland China “risk zones.”
The measure also covers people entering Macau from Hong Kong, Taiwan and foreign countries. Visitors are no longer required to quarantine at a hotel, however, they are required to comply with the five-day home isolation measure after entry.
Previously, a 24-hour nucleic acid test was required for entry into Macau from mainland China.
