Hann Philippines Inc, owner and operator of Hann Casino Resort in the Clark Freeport Zone, has inked a deal with South Korea’s POSCO Engineering and Construction Co Ltd to become a partner in the company’s new resort developments in nearby New Clark City.
The Hann Group said Wednesday that POSCO will also be responsible for the construction, design and development of Hann Lux and Hann Reserve, both premium sub-brands under the master Hann Resorts brand.
When complete, Hann Lux will be home to Sofitel Clark and Emblems Clark, plus a casino, high-end fashion stores, French-inspired cafes, convention facilities, residences and commercial areas.
Hann Reserve will be an “ultra-luxe mountain resort destination” featuring Banyan Tree Hotel – described as a “sanctuary for the senses” with pool villas and a tropical garden spa — and Angsana Hotel featuring more family-friendly recreational activities.
The area will also be home to three 18-hole golf courses designed by some of the biggest names in world golf – Nicklaus Design, South Korea’s KJ Choi and Nick Faldo.
The signed heads of agreements with POSCO covers the fast tracking of these two developments, Hann said.
“We are ecstatic to announce this partnership with a world-class company like POSCO E&C whose expertise and craftsmanship is recognized internationally,” said Hann Philippines Inc Chairman and CEO, Daesik Han.
“This collaboration is sure to fast-track our development plans for Clark and New Clark City with the rise of Hann Lux and Hann Reserve.”
