Melco Resorts & Entertainment says it has reached over 75% full vaccination rate for staff in Macau and Hong Kong as part of its Get the Jab program, with the goal of reaching 80% in the near future.
Melco’s Get the Jab program includes an incentive program for staff, with MOP$16 million (US$2 million) earmarked staff including MOP$1,000 (US$125) each for all staff who are fully vaccinated. The company will also host its second MOP$3 million (US$375,000) lucky draws next month where three staff members will win MOP$1 million (US$125,000) each.
“Melco established colleague immunity as a key company objective to ensure a safe environment for colleagues, guests and the community, and we continue to support the government-led efforts towards community-wide vaccination for achieving herd immunity,” said Melco Chairman and CEO, Lawrence Ho.
“We are thrilled at the success of Melco’s ‘Get the Jab’ vaccination incentive program, resulting in, to date, 75% full vaccination amongst colleagues in Macau and Hong Kong.
