Artyzen Hospitality Group has unveiled new branding for its peninsula hotel Grand Lapa, which will now be known as Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.

First opened in 1984, the rebranding follows completion of a recent renovation which saw modern touches implemented throughout the hotel alongside what the company describes as a “classic yet contemporary” design.

“We are delighted to announce the launch of the Artyzen Hotels and Resorts brand in Macau, China,” said Peter Wynne, Senior Vice President of Artyzen Hospitality Group.

“We look forward to welcoming our guests in this artistic enclave where we celebrate the beauty of Macau’s tradition, its unique Sino-Portuguese heritage and most importantly the hospitality of the Macanese community.”

According to this week’s announcement, the Portuguese-inspired Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau aims to infuse the wisdom of art and craftsmanship into the property while encouraging guests to celebrate “Boa Vida”, translated as “enjoying the good life.”

“We are thrilled to begin a new chapter where we bring exciting artistic and cultural elements to the hotel,” said Rutger Verschuren, Area Vice President, Macau Operations of Artyzen Hospitality Group and General Manager of Artyzen Grand Lapa Macau.

“We aim to be loved by guests for the relaxing resort facilities, for the personal touches and graciousness we provide, all delivered with genuine passion. We introduce a landmark, celebratory concept this summer to welcome our dearly-beloved guests in our rebranding journey.”

Artyzen Hospitality Group is a subsidiary of Hong Kong’s Shun Tak Group, which counts MGM China’s Pansy Ho as its Group Executive Chairman and Managing Director and SJM Holdings Chairman Daisy Ho as its Chairman Daisy Ho as its Deputy Managing Director and Executive Director.
