Philippines-based Jade Entertainment and Gaming Technologies Inc has unveiled three new additions to its executive team which it says are aimed at addressing the convergence of Asia’s land-based and online gaming industries due to COVID-19.
The additions are headed by the arrival as of 1 February 2021 of Jean Rose D. Buenaventura as Chief Financial Officer. She brings more than 15 years of gaming experience with Europe and Asia’s top online gaming brands such as William Hill, Ladbrokes and Mansion 88. She also established several back office and support functions for Playtech, Jade said.

Also joining the company are Gary C Hann as Vice President – Business Development, and Joseph Del Duca as Vice President – International Marketing.
Hann boasts 30 years’ experience in land base gaming including multiple senior management roles in North America and Asia. He has been involved in the pre-opening and operations of major Asian IRs such as The Venetian Macao, Four Seasons Macao, Marina Bay Sands in Singapore, Solaire Resort & Casino in Manila and City of Dreams Manila.

Joseph Del Duca, a specialist in Marketing, Communications, Media and Government Relations, has been heavily involved in the Australian and global poker scene, having worked with PokerStars, The Star Sydney, VGW and PokerNews. He has also been a leading proponent in the fight to legalize and regulate online poker in Australia as founder of the Australian Online Poker Alliance.

“This is a time of great change in the gaming industry and the events of the past year have shown us that a convergence of land-based and internet gaming is essential for business continuity,” said Jade CEO Joe Pisano.
“Jade continues to expand its team with expertise to address the convergence. As we continue to make strides into the Asian gaming scene, we are also developing a framework to go beyond our borders.
“Together with the team at Jade, I welcome Jean, Joseph and Gary onboard.”
