Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association have announced the postponement of G2E Asia from its original May scheduling until 17 to 19 August 2021.
The delay comes as COVID-19 continues to impact travel around the world, with organizers stating the new dates will provide exhibitors and attendees more time to plan their participation. The Venetian Macao will remain the venue for G2E Asia in August.
“Through ongoing consultation with our exhibitors and the Macau government, Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association determined that an August event provides the best opportunity to showcase the caliber of educational content and create the valuable marketplace that our industry has come to expect from G2E Asia,” said Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions China.
“We look forward to bringing the gaming community together at G2E Asia as the industry continues to recover from the devastating impacts of COVID-19.”
G2E Asia was postponed twice in 2020 – first to July and then December – before being cancelled altogether.
