The Hong Kong Jockey Club has announced the appointment of Anthony Ingham as Executive Director of Membership, Strategic Marketing and Branding.
Due to start from 7 December 2020, Ingham will lead the development of the Club’s Membership strategy with the aim of enhancing and creating unique membership experiences for the Club’s 30,000 members. He will also lead the development and implementation of the Club’s strategic marketing plans through active co-ordination with key stakeholders, the HKJC said.
Reporting directly to CEO Winfried Engelbrecht-Bresges, Ingham will be responsible for articulating the Club’s brand and strengthening the communication of the Club’s integrated business model with its significant contribution to the community.
In an announcement, The HKJC said Ingham brings 20 years of experience in brand transformation, strategic marketing and customer experience development for globally renowned luxury and lifestyle hospitality brands to his new role.
His previous roles include leading brand strategy, marketing and guest experience execution for Marriott International and as Global Head of the W Brand. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Bath and previously attended King George V School in Hong Kong.
His arrival comes as Ms Scarlette Leung prepares to leave her position as Executive Director, Corporate Planning, Branding and Membership for The HKJC on 1 January 2021 following two decades of service.
