Macau’s Gaming and Inspection Coordination Bureau (DICJ) will require all people entering casinos to submit negative test results for COVID-19 and hold “green” health codes from midnight at the start of 15 July.
The DICJ also requires gaming operators to conduct body temperature checks on all people entering casino floors, and must comply with fresh air ventilation standards.
All people entering integrated resorts, hotels and hostels must submit “green” health codes and undergo temperature checks, but are not required to have a negative COVID-19 test.
Quarantine requirements between Macau and Guangdong Province will be removed from 6am on 15 July. As a result, visitors are expected to return to Macau in much greater numbers.
