Macau’s satellite and second tier casinos continue to outperform their much larger integrated resort cousins based on figures gathered by Inside Asian Gaming last week.
As we’ve done for each of the past three weeks, IAG visited 13 casinos operating under license of SJM with three of those registering more than 100 players on the main gaming floor as per our head count.
They included Oceanus, located alongside Macau Ferry Terminal, which led the way with 180 players – up from 150 and 130 respectively in the prior weeks – as well as Kam Pek with 110 players and Casino Emperor with 105.
By comparison, the most recent IAG spot count of 11 Macau IRs saw a maximum of 30 players on any one main gaming floor (MGM Macau).
The 13 casinos IAG visited last week were Babylon, Casa Real, Diamond, Eastern, Emperor, Fortuna, Golden Dragon, Kam Pek, Landmark, Legend Palace, Million Dragon, Oceanus and Royal Dragon.
