Macau’s peninsula satellite and second tier casinos have been aided by local players, with a spot count conducted by Inside Asian Gaming revealing an average of 40 players on main gaming floors during the past week – almost three times more than the number of players in integrated resorts.
IAG visited 13 such casinos this week with Oceanus, located alongside Macau Ferry Terminal, the busiest with 130 players on Thursday afternoon. Kam Pek, run by Paradise Entertainment, had 110 players on Tuesday.
That compared with an average of just 15 players on the main gaming floors of 11 integrated resorts, most of them in Cotai, last week.
The 13 casinos visited by IAG, all under license of SJM, were Babylon, Casa Real, Diamond, Eastern, Emperor, Fortuna, Golden Dragon, Kam Pek, Landmark, Legend Palace, Million Dragon, Oceanus and Royal Dragon.
