G2E Asia has been postponed for a second time, with this year’s exhibition now set to be held at The Venetian Macao from 1 to 3 December 2020, organizer Reed Exhibitions announced Friday.
Originally scheduled to be held in May, G2E Asia had already been rescheduled once to late July due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This latest postponement follows the further spread of the virus around the world and ongoing disruption to global travel.
“The health and safety of our exhibitors, attendees and employees is paramount,” said Josephine Lee, Chief Operating Officer of Reed Exhibitions China. “The rapidly evolving situation makes it too difficult to host G2E Asia in a safe environment this summer.
“Based on our continued monitoring of the global health crisis, and in consultation with our customers and the Macau government, we have made the decision to postpone G2E Asia to December. We look forward to continuing to support Macau’s resilient gaming industry and its recovery when we reconvene in December.”
