G2E Asia @ the Philippines will welcome almost 100 exhibitors and sponsors, and boast a brand-new awards night with a Gala Dinner, when it is held for the very first time at the Manila Marriott Hotel on 3 and 4 December 2019.
Details of the event, organized by the American Gaming Association and Reed Exhibitions and supported by PAGCOR, were unveiled at a press conference in Manila on Tuesday. Focused on the development of emerging ASEAN markets, G2E Asia @ the Philippines – the sister event of the annual G2E Asia held in Macau each May – will comprise an expo, educational conference and networking opportunities.
Inside Asian Gaming has been named Lead Media Partner of the event, is organizing the educational conference and will have a strong presence on the show floor.
“We’re excited to expand the G2E Asia brand with this new expo in the Philippines, bringing new opportunities for growth and innovation to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) emerging markets, including the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Malaysia and Indonesia,” said Josephine Lee, chief operating officer of Reed Exhibitions Greater China.
Andrea Domingo, the Chairman and CEO of PAGCOR, said G2E Asia @ the Philippines “will put the Philippines on the radar of international gaming. The advantage for PAGCOR is that it is able to share its experience and policies on responsible gaming, proper accountability, regulation as well as operating our own casinos but also showing the world how transparent we are as a regulator and how good we are as an operator of casinos.”
Organizers revealed on Tuesday that they will host the G2E Asia @ the Philippines Product Awards and Gala Dinner on the evening of 3 December, aimed at recognizing excellence and the most popular products in gaming and entertainment among the exhibits. All registered visitors will be eligible to vote for the awards.
