The World Poker Tour has announced its 2019 “Asia Swing” – a series of events in Vietnam, Japan and Korea that will see prizes awarded for the best performing players across all three stops.
Points will be awarded in a total of nine events, three at each stop, with the top three points earners at the end of the WPT Asia Swing being awarded a prize. They include a WPT India High Roller package for the best performer, incorporating entry into the INR100,000 (US$1,400) buy-in WPT India High Roller event, three nights of accommodation, plus airport and boat transfers. All three players will also receive US$500 in cash.
The three stops begin with WPT Vietnam at Ho Chi Minh City’s Pro Poker Club from 3 to 11 September, followed by the three-week WPT Japan at Hotel Gajoen Tokyo which finishes on 16 September and finally WPT Korea at Paradise City in Incheon from 17 to 23 September.
“The WPT Asia Swing proved to be a huge success in Season XVII and the WPT and its casino partners look forward to having strong participation from players across the globe during the Season XVIII edition,” said Cathy Zhao, Director of WPTDeepStacks.
