Lisboeta, the under-construction Cotai integrated resort founded by SJM Co-Chair Angela Leong and her son Arnaldo Ho, has launched its first recruitment drive.
The property’s operating arm, Macau Theme Park and Resort Limited (MTPR), announced overnight that it will hold a large-scale recruitment fair on Tuesday 16 July with 1,500 positions for Macau residents and 180 non-gaming positions available ahead of Lisboeta’s planned 2020 opening.
The recruitment fair will be held from 10am to 5pm at Regency Art Hotel and specifically look to recruit staff from frontline to management levels for multiple departments, including corporate marketing, front office, housekeeping, food and beverage, facilities management, retail business development, procurement, finance, information technology, human resources and administration.
“The Lisboeta is an integrated resort dedicated to Macau people and truly represents the city,” said Ho.
“Not only will it facilitate economic diversification of Macau, the project will also provide more career choices for the local workforce. We will give priority to nurturing Macau’s talent and driving their upward mobility, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of the city.”
The HK$5 billion Lisboeta will cover 141,000 square meters and include three hotels – Lisboeta Hotel with 574 rooms, Maison L’Occitane with 164 and Casa de Amigo with 82.
The property will also boast a zip-line attraction, indoor skydiving facilities and Emperor Cinemas featuring Macau’s first IMAX and MX4D movie theatres.
