Ainsworth Game Technology will show off its latest innovations at G2E Asia under the banner “Play the Future”

New South Wales-based Ainsworth Game Technology was founded by the legendary Len Ainsworth, long acknowledged as one of the fathers of slots in Australia and the man who established industry heavyweight Aristocrat.

Mr Ainsworth gave up control of Aristocrat in the mid-1990s. By then he was in his 70s, but his appetite for businessbuilding was undimmed. He set up Ainsworth Game Technology in 1995 and the company listed on Australia’s ASX in December 2001. It now employsmore than 300 people and its reins have passed into the capable hands of industry veteran Danny Gladstone, who

was appointed CEO in February 2007.

Over the past few years, Ainsworth has greatly increased its share of the Australian market and grown international sales. Last month, it announced it had joined forces with Bally in a content-sharing agreement designed to help power both companies’ expansion into online and remote gaming. The deal will see Ainsworth provide a variety of games for Bally Technologies’ iGaming Platform and Remote Gaming Server for distribution in regulated markets in the United States and elsewhere.

Underlying Ainsworth’s recent success has been the strong performance of the A560 family of cabinets. The all new A560st, on display at G2E Asia, is an “eye catcher that perfectly embodies the attributes of a classic entertainer,” proclaims Ainsworth. Available in two different modular versions—single 23” LCD and Dual 23”/27” LCD—it caters for a range of modern gaming applications. According to the company, the A560st offers state-of-the-art technology with its powerful Quadtronic processor, compact storage and premium sound system. On the front end, there is an intuitive player interface supporting a 15-button play deck with a programmable button option. To top it off, the A560st offers high-resolution graphics and imaginative themes that are synonymous with the entire A560 GamePlus range.

Also under the spotlight is Ainsworth’s latest high-end link progressive, Treasure Storm, packed with three link progressives, two standalone progressives and an exhilarating free games feature. With three game titles to choose from—888 Blue Dragon, 888 Red Dragon and 888 Yellow Dragon—Treasure Storm is a 40-/50-line game for the 1 cent market, available with an eye-catching signage package.

Snake Mystery, created to commemorate the Year of the Snake in 2013, is one of the newest additions to Ainsworth’s mystery jackpot packages. Snake Mystery incorporates the proven Double Hit concept with a 2-level mystery link.

Another highlight item at the Ainsworth stand will be Fortune Ox, the company’s latest high-denom link progressive from the Double Hit line. Available in the unique triple-screen Super A560 cabinet, Fortune Ox provides increased start-up value options plus rapid-hitting bonus prizes with even more generous frequent free game features. The Fortune Ox series is targeted at high denom play in a 5,10 or 20 pay line format with a 3-level link or 2-level SAP + 1 level link option.

Then there’s Ainsworth’s 3-level standalone progressive, Thunder Dragon, which, according to the company, is another market-first concept wherein scatter combinations not only trigger the free games feature, but also simultaneously reveal any 1 of 3 potential big-time standalone progressive levels. Further adding to the excitement, bonus prizes are up for grabs and during the free games the appearance of scatters ramp up as they continue triggering more free games and even more progressives.

Ainsworth’s popular 4-level standalone progressive series, Quad Shot, will feature new Asian-themed titles, Dragon Charm, Jade Emperor and Wings of Fortune. There will also be updates to Ainsworth’s GamePlus range with the link progressive “pick your feature” Double Shot Oriental game package.
