Octavian Global Technologies says its new Octavian EasyStart management system is the ideal entry-level product for casinos

The company, formerly known as Octavian International, is at an exciting crossroads, having recently completed a reverse merger and raised US$13 million from institutional investors.
The injected capital will help fund growth in new product areas and technological development. It will also allow Octavian to develop its marketing strategy and expand its global presence for the benefit of existing and new customers.

“As well as allowing us to invest further in solution development, this will enable us to invest in our customers’ future success,” says Mr Brenninkmeijer.
“That could be through participation arrangements, for example, or by working hand-in-hand with operators to help them maximise the business benefits of the new Octavian EasyStart casino system,” he adds.
The company stresses Octavian EasyStart is not a stripped-down starter system or a ‘trial-in-a-box’ where operators are left to themselves. It functions in its own right but can also be added to module-bymodule to cover even greater functionality in monitoring front and back of house activities.
Low outlay
“With Octavian EasyStart you can deploy the system in a simple step-by-step manner and there’s minimal or in some cases no up front investment required in software or hardware to get started,” says Helen Hedgeland, Octavian’s Head of Marketing.
The company says that for a competitive flat-rate monthly fee per machine or per table, Octavian EasyStart lets operators quickly take control of gaming operations and build competitive advantage.
“We provide full on-site consultancy, including system set-up and customisation, and free training,” explains Ms Hedgeland.
“Octavian EasyStart Entry Level provides an integrated casino customer relationship management (CRM) system that delivers comprehensive player bonus, marketing and loyalty campaign management functions for instant results,” says Ms Hedgeland.
Functions that allow casino operators to build their bottom line quickly include the ability to: make customers part of a loyalty/ members club; grade them (e.g., entry-level, honorary, VIP) based on visits and time spent playing games; track them and reward them based on the theoretical win/loss for their favourite games; evaluate the cost associated with each customer (expenses, gifts, promos, coupons) compared with the actual win/loss of the customer.
Targeted marketing
Octavian EasyStart can also run focused promotions based on statistical data to attract specific groups of customers at specific days or times of day; evaluate the return on each promotion campaign by comparing its actual costs with the actual increase in visits, playing time, win, etc; and run the surveillance function to protect from unwanted entrants or to monitor specific customers closely.

On expiry of the trial the hardware can be purchased from Octavian. A nominal fee is charged for system install and tailored set-up, but the company says this is reimbursed to customers who sign-up to Octavian EasyStart following successful completion of the trial.
