6 G2E ASIA CONFERENCE 2023 | ASGAM.COM G2E ASIA 2023 CONFERENCE ABOUT THE CONFERENCE The G2E Asia Special Edition: Singapore conference is back for a second year running in 2023, providing participants with a comprehensive education platform and unparalleled insights into the Asian gaming and hospitality industry. The three-day program covers a range of themes that promise to shape the development of our industry over the coming years, ensuring attendees are equipped with the knowledge and know-how they need to flourish. Featuring some of the Asian gaming industry’s most respected thought leaders, the G2E Asia 2023 Special Edition: Singapore conference will kick off with Bill Miller, President and CEO of the American Gaming Association, delivering a highly anticipated keynote address. Day One of the conference on Tuesday 30 May is titled “Asian Market Forum” and explores the latest happenings in developing and emerging markets around the region, with a particular focus on the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand and Japan. Speakers include esteemed industry colleagues such as Morgan Stanley analyst Praveen Choudhary; the CEO of Vietnam’s The Grand Ho Tram Resort and Casino, Walt Power; Chief Operating Officer of Manila’s Newport World Resorts, Hakan Dagtas; and independent gaming analyst Vitaly Umansky. The morning session on Day Two, titled “The Future of Gaming in Asia”, looks at issues such as investment and development opportunities and optimizing the customer experience, while a panel session on innovation features representatives of major industry suppliers Aristocrat, IGT, Interblock and Light & Wonder. After lunch, guests will enjoy a series of panels on esports and how this industry can and is being capitalized by land-based and online gaming operators globally. Finally, Day Three sees the addition of the IAGA Best Practices Institute as it explores “Current Issues in Gaming Compliance and Regulation”. This high-level summit takes a deep dive into Asia’s regulatory landscape with representatives from MGM China, EY Singapore, Columbia University and Australian law firm Senet among the speakers. The day’s proceedings will conclude with a panel session on “Creating and Implementing Effective Responsible Gaming Measures”, to be moderated by the former Executive Commissioner and CEO of the Victorian Commission for Gambling Regulation, Peter Cohen.
