Above its Class Tour of the Properties Macau’s Rio Hotel and Casino offers conspicuous luxury beyond its four-star designation and price point. From the sumptuous spa to the elegant presidential suite pictured here, when the Rio opened in February last year, it stood above the crowd of other properties in its vicinity in the heart of Macau. The Rio isn’t Samba-styled, but rather themed after an Italian palace. The entrance to the casino features a large marble staircase and walls adorned with paintings of clas- sic Italian streetscapes.
