Galaxy Entertainment Group’s long-time Senior Director of Integrated Resort Services, Raymond Yap, is set to step down from the role.
In a statement sent to Inside Asian Gaming, the company confirmed that Yap will leave his position effective 9 October 2024 but will continue to serve as a consultant. He will be replaced as Head of Integrated Resort Services by Elmen Lee, currently Vice President – International Premium Market Development and part of GEG since 2008.
Yap’s departure follows recent rumors of changes to the company’s executive team, with reports that GEG’s EVP of Integrated Resort Services Robert Reichard and SVP of Customer Development Terruce Wang are also set to depart.
Yap joined GEG in 2007 as SVP of Non-Gaming at Galaxy Macau and was part of the property’s pre-opening team.
GEG, which also operates StarWorld on the Macau peninsula, recently reported its best quarter since the COVID-19 pandemic with 2Q24 gross gaming revenues reaching HK$10.3 billion (US$1.32 billion), up 35.0% year-on-year and 7.4% compared with the March 2024 quarter.
