SJM Resorts, S.A. says it helped vaccinate 1,200 people during the latest round of its “Take The Shot, Protect Macau” public outreach vaccination program.
The three-day event from 25 to 27 February was co-organized by the Macau Health Bureau and saw 400 more people receive their shot than had been originally anticipated.
SJM said it continues to support the Macao SAR Government’s pandemic prevention target of “preventing imported cases and a rebound of the pandemic in Macau.”
SJM Holdings Chairman Daisy Ho said, “We wish to thank the Macau Health Bureau for co-organizing a public outreach vaccination event with SJM once again.
“SJM is dedicating all of its efforts toward implementing anti-pandemic measures of the Macao SAR Government and proactively responding to the need to build a stronger [immunity] barrier for the community.
“We will continue to actively partner with the Macao SAR Government in the fight against the pandemic. We hope that by boosting vaccination rates, we can jointly safeguard the lives and well-being of Macau residents for the overall protection of the Macau community.”
