The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has revealed that lotto games will resume in all areas under either General Community Quarantine (GCQ) or Modified GCQ (MGCQ) from 4 August 2020.

Lotto games were suspended nationwide on 15 March in line with a directive governing all gaming operations from regulator PAGCOR.

According to state run Philippine News Agency, PCSO General Manager Royina Marzan-Garma has stated the games are set to return next month subject to social distancing measures, including the wearing of face masks, at all outlets.

The PCSO has also revealed it will run a series of “catch-up draws” in the meantime for tickets purchased prior to the agency’s March suspension.

The catch-up draws will begin immediately and run for 15 days, with regular lotto operations to resume upon conclusion of the draws.
