The 2018 Australasian Gaming Expo kicks off today, with more than 200 exhibitors from across the gaming industry gathering at Sydney’s International Convention Centre (ICC).
This year’s exhibition represents the second year that AGE has been held at the spectacular new ICC, which opened in 2017, with the expo to cover around 19,000 square meters of space this time around.
Inside Asian Gaming will be on the floor to check out the latest news and innovations emerging from the Australasian Gaming industry.
Among the major gaming firms exhibiting in 2018 are the likes of Aristocrat, Scientific Games, IGT, Paltronics, Atrient and Interblock while new exhibitors include Sony Video Security, LED Media, Design Choice, TransAct Technologies and Innodisk Corporation.
Also in Sydney today is the Gaming, Racing and Wagering Australia conference at nearby L’Aqua Darling Harbour – offering spectacular views across the water to the ICC as well as The Star Sydney.
Today’s conference session will be chaired by IAG Managing Editor Ben Blaschke with the theme of “Casinos, clubs, eSports and gaming.” Ben will also moderate panels on customer acquisition and retention as it related to land-based gaming operations as well as the opportunities provided by eSports.
