Landing International Development Limited has launched two new non-gaming attractions at its Korean integrated resort, Jeju Shinhwa World.
Shinhwa Waterpark and the Transformers Autobots Alliance Exhibition both opened for business on Friday, just 24 hours after Landing announced a 360% increase in consolidated revenue in 1H18 to HK$1.75 billion. The revenue increase was due primarily to the relocation of Landing Casino to Jeju Shinhwa World from its former home at Hyatt Regency Jeju Hotel.
Jeju Shinhwa World’s new Shinhwa Waterpark is the largest waterpark in Jeju Island, covering 18,000 square meters and featuring 19 attractions including a wave pool, water slides, rides, a spa, a pool for kids and a private cabana area.
The Transformers Autobots Alliance Exhibition is an interactive walk-through exhibition covering 2,200 square meters and featuring popular Transformers characters.
Landing said on Friday it “considers that the Shinhwa Waterpark and the Transformers Autobots Alliance Exhibition will complement the existing leisure and entertainment offerings in the resort and the group will continue to focus on ramping up its business and operations in Jeju Shinhwa World.”
