MGM China Holdings has officially started taking hotel bookings for its US$3.2 billion MGM Cotai integrated resort in Macau ahead of the official opening on 29 January 2018.
The company will take its first bookings from Tuesday 21 November after announcing a series of promotional offers on Monday, with single night stays in the 1,400-room property starting from MOP$1,398.
“As MGM Cotai will be the most anticipated resort opening of 2018, we are pleased to launch opening offers with great value for all of our guests, inviting them to stay with us and experience our one-of-a-kind offerings first-hand,” said MGM China CEO and Executive Director Grant Bowie. “We look forward to welcoming our loyal customers and new guests to MGM Cotai, the most innovative integrated resort in Macau, on 29 January.”
MGM Cotai was originally scheduled to open in early 2017 but has suffered a series of setbacks, most recently damage caused to the construction site by Typhoon Hato which struck Macau on 23 August.
